Eugene Divine is an interesting person I’ve recently had the pleasure of meeting. Much like me, Eugene is a native New Yorker relocated to the calm serenity and milder weather of the south. This soft-spoken designer of things unique and interesting first caught our attention as an event & wedding planner, although he’s not your average planner of events.
His Facebook page states, “Eugene Divine Designs is a one-of-its-kind Design Studio and event venue in the heart of the historical district of Roswell, GA. www.DivineDesignsGA.com.” This description hardly does any justice to this little chunk of paradise located outside of Atlanta.
Designs by Eugene Divine is a one of a kind retreat located in historic Roswell, GA. Besides the beautiful floral arrangements and art décor, Eugene’s shop is largely comprised of unique, center pieces, garden décor, and fabulous items personally handcrafted using antique pieces, flowers and Eugene’s creative mind. Besides being available for weddings & events, Eugene’s space can be rented by the hour to add a little creative punch to your next photo shoot. Yes, Eugene is a Master Designer & set builder. Garden sets, unique hair-pieces, and antiques galore make this small retreat a hidden gem for photographers & videographers. We had the pleasure of shooting on location with some gorgeous gowns from Jodi. Coupled with Becki Nicole’s styling expertise, we were able to grab some images from our last visit. I even broke out the trusty film rig to shoot some B&W portraits. I hope you enjoy. –km
