When I first spoke with Betsy on the phone, I had just a small idea about this newly engaged couple we were going to meet. I couldn’t have known at the time that we would become such good friends shortly thereafter. Fast forward though the introductions, few drinks, a River Dogs baseball game, paddle-boarding, and a ride in a fire engine, (Not necessarily in that order) my mind was made. When you first meet them, you’ll see that Betsy & Eric make a great couple. After spending a few minutes with them, you’ll realize that this fire-fighter & nurse duo are simply badass.
After having the opportunity to photograph their engagement session, I’m reminded why we love what we do. We get to meet some awesome folks, share some cool experiences, and make lasting friendships. I’m not sure who’s luckier: Eric & Betsy getting to marry the love of their lives, or us for having the opportunity to meet some cool people and photograph their story.
